Quick Fixes for Self Study CDs

Please try these quick fixes before requesting help from MTI. 90% of all issues can be resolved by following the instructions below.

ISSUE:
You don’t see video, don’t hear audio, or the video is blurry.
RESOLUTION
Go to http://www.windowsmedia.com/download and click on the green download button. Choose “OPEN” or “RUN FROM CURRENT LOCATION” then go through the download, and installation process. Then REBOOT the computer.

ISSUE:
Can't get past the login screen. You enter your assigned login and password, but it keeps telling you that the password is incorrect.
RESOLUTION
  • Make sure you are connected to the Internet
  • Make sure you are typing your username and password using the correct case. Example: if your password reads: JSmith on your paperwork, enter "JSmith" in the login area. The login/password on the Self Study CDS are CASE SENSITIVE.
  • If you do not know your password, please click here to have it emailed to you

  • ISSUE:
When you click on the session to view it, you get an error that says something like “CANNOT FIND FILE X:\filename.htm”
