You’re Not Selling Mortgages—You’re Guiding Dreams Into Reality

mortgage loan officer meeting with homebuyers for mortgage approval.

Let’s face it, nobody gets excited about a 30-year debt commitment. But you know what does spark excitement?

  • Starting a new chapter.

  • Creating stability for a growing family.

  • Building a legacy that outlives you.

That’s the real business you’re in.

As a loan officer, you’re not here to pitch interest rates. You’re here to guide clients toward the life they want, with home financing as the compass, not the destination.

Here’s where the Exactly What to Say® (EWTS) framework empowers top producers: showing up intentionally in your daily conversations.

Mortgage loan officer meeting with clients utilizing Exactly What to Say

Instead of:

“What kind of loan are you looking for?”

Try:

“What does owning this home make possible for you?”
This invites purpose into the process and builds emotional investment.

Instead of:

“I can get you pre-approved quickly.”

Try:

“What would it mean for you to know exactly what you can afford—and make offers with total confidence?”
You’re not promising speed. You’re promising certainty.

Instead of:

“Here’s your rate.”

Try:

“Most people I work with care more about peace of mind and long-term gain than just a number on paper. Want me to walk you through what that could look like?”
Boom. You just reframed value.

This is the power of the EWTS principle called “Vision”—it allows conversations to move from logic to emotion. When people feel their future, they move faster and with less resistance.

You become more than a lender.
You become their guide.

I am a speaker, coach, and educator passionate about transforming how professionals communicate and build relationships. With over 30 years in mortgage lending, I’ve learned a few things—there are some I know for sure:

✨ Gratitude is everything
✨ Community over competition always wins
✨ Face-to-face relationships drive success
✨ The trained outperform the untrained every time

Success looks different for everyone, but it starts with curiosity and meaningful connections. As a Production Growth Leader, I help loan officers and mortgage professionals grow their businesses with a people-first approach. Leadership isn’t about taking charge—it’s about caring for those in my charge. I seek humble, hungry, and coachable people to join my team, and I love collaborating with like-minded professionals.

At Mortgage Girlfriends, I empower women in the mortgage industry through mentorship, education, and an incredible support network. I also create programs on care-driven leadership, client engagement, and strategic business growth—offering actionable insights that elevate careers and personal fulfillment.

Beyond work, I’m a golfer, skier, and proud Colorado State University grad. As the spouse of a Navy Veteran & Retired LEO and bonus mom to a U.S. Army soldier, I have deep gratitude for law enforcement, first responders, and veterans.

I split my time between Colorado and my happy place—the beach in Texas, where I support my husband’s dream of fishing as much as possible. My young adult children inspire me daily with their drive and character. And my stubborn Husky/Golden mix, Bentley, has made it clear that I am his person!

When we work together, my commitment is that you will feel good, smart, and capable in your decisions. If my beliefs resonate with you, let’s connect and collaborate!
